Computational imaging is a field that uses advanced algorithms to form higher quality images according to data mining. It overcoming physical limitations of the traditional optical system, such as optics and sensors. It is comprehensive application of the fields of structural optics, statistical optimization, and artificial intelligence et al. to achieve an adaptive system that functions like a biological eye. It was considered having potential in improving image quality and reducing equipment costs.

计算机辅助诊断(CAD)是利用计算机处理技术辅助医生对医学影像进行解读的系统。CAD是一门跨学科技术,将信息处理、人工智能与医学相结合,实现对医疗数据快速、准确、客观的分析评估。本实验室主要将CAD技术应用于眼科、口腔科以及病理分析。
Computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) is a system that assist doctors in the interpretation of medical images. CAD is an interdisciplinary technology combining elements of signal processing and artificial intelligence with medicine, to support fast, accurate and objective assessment for medical data. Our laboratory mainly apply CAD technology in Ophthalmology, Stomatology and Pathology.
